After trying out a few different types of Jhumkas, I decided to make a 3 layered jhumka. The first layer of Jhumka is a combo of Violet and Orange, the second layer is orange and the third layer is violet. The first layer of combo is not made of strips attaching with one another, but it is a different kind of technique where the strips are placed on top of one another thus giving a different kind of effect. I added a few pink loreals too to make it more attractive. This set went to a lovely little girl in Dubai, who wanted something different. So the pendant also had the same three layers. She loved it very much and I am also happy about the outcome.

Ceramic Cone Art on Paper
When I had to do Aarthi plate for a marriage, they provided me with a stainless steel plate and asked me to deocrate it as I like and one of the designs I made is ceramic cone art. The only condition I was told was that the plate should be reused. So I had to stick a chart inside the plate and do the decoration. I prefferred yellow background for the ceramic cone art and it definitely gave a good look. As the ceramic paint is puff up paints the impression that it created on the paper too was amazing. I placed a small terracotta lamp in the middle too which made it a complete Aarthi Thali.

Silk Thread Bangles
After Quilling the next thing I ventured into was making Silk Thread Bangles. As ever never attended any classes learnt it all by myself and it fascinated me a lot. Making these bangles was full of fun. I initially tried with the embroidery thread that I had at home. Then one of my friend suggested that I try it with silk thread bangles and so I purchased an array of threads from one of my friend who is an online supplier. With the threads she sent me I started trying making silk thread bangles and my first try was making a bangle in yellow with red flower stones.

Roses - can never stop admiring them
For a very long time, whenever my friends made roses out of ribbons, satin ribbons or laces, I keep pondering, how they are doing it and I have felt that I am not going to learn it at all. But when I started quilling on searching the net, I came across few roses and I started searching for tutorials and got them too. And then trial and error started and at last I mastered making roses. My first set of roses made was used to make flower boquet. When I showed my roses to my friend, she ordered a set for her cutie pie daughter. But the beauty of it was so amazing that she said she herself wore it to office one day.

Black is my favourite colour says all.
One of my friends asked me to make ear rings and pendants according to her dress colours. She messaged me her dress and I was able to match the designs according to the colour. Along with them she also ordered a black set. Black sets are definitely viral. Any one who sees the sample go crazy over that. I made almost 6 to 8 pairs of jhumkas in black alone for different people.
