Ganesha fridge magenet for an order.

When one of my quilling friends asked me whether I could take up the order which she have got for Ganesha Quilling magnets, as she is having other orders to be completed, I agreed to do it and the client ordered 60 Ganeshas and as they had a forest theme she wanted the Ganeshas to be in Green. And thanks to my kids who helped me in completing them and packing them in green gift wrapper too.

Contest entry for Indian Quilling Guild

Indian Quilling Guild conducts contests regularly. Though I want to participate, I feel that I am still not equipped to participate and I am not up to their standard. But I did try participating once when the theme was quilled heart and here it is heart o hearts that I made for that contest. The entire thing is made of Vellum Strips that I had purchased from Itsy Bitsy.

Wind Chime in quilling cone shaped

When there was a competition in one of the quilling groups in FB, I tried out my hands on traditional cone shaped wind chime in quilling. Though it did not win a prize, I got a few orders to make the same pattern to be gifted. The colours I used were vibrant orange, yellow and brown. The five layered cones made a perfect dangler with sounds.

Perler Beads craft work from Swarnaa Creations

When I first saw a few Perler Bead work in Facebook, I thought it to be mosaic work in Quilling coils. But later came to know about these beads and on enquiry found that one lady is supplying it. Got it from her and we all were excited in making it. With the limited boards available we  managed to make a few designs and the first design the kids made was a heart for their dad to be gifted on his birthday.

Enthralling multi colour set

When you try something out of single shade strips it always ends up enthralling. And that set I gifted it for the winner of the contest in my Face Book page. The set became even more elegant after it is studded with multi colour green stone.

Angry bird set made by my daughter

Whenever she gets into her mood to create something (that mood comes when she had to gift something for her friends) she is on her mark and is set into action. The she is my daughter. I have to proudly say that she has the capacity to recreate whatever she sees without seeing any tutorial. And this is what she created for her friend. An angry bird set. When I asked her why this in particular, her reply was that her friend is like this red bird when she is angry.

The set might seem simple. But the way she painted the eyes I was impressed as she never does a good level of painting.
